Our Prayer to St. Jude
Every child and every adult in St. Jude School
Is a special gift of God Our Father
Every child and every adult in St. Jude School
deserves my respect.
I will do my best to show respect for everyone in my school.
I will not fight with anyone.
I will not tease anyone.
I will not call others names.
I will play fair and not argue.
I will do my best to help others feel good about themselves.
I will treat everyone as I wish to be treated.
Thank you God, Our Father, for your gifts of people who love me and help me.

Who We Are
St. Jude School is an elementary School (JK-grade 6) of approximately 200 children. It is located in an intercity area of our city. The community is known as the East End and it is one of Thunder Bay’s oldest areas. In fact, the school itself is only five blocks away from the original site of Old Fort William.
In addition to offering the Ontario curriculum, St. Jude School offers a Christian Living and Family Life program. These are lived in this school through daily prayer, Eucharistic Celebrations, Prayer Services, Spirit Assemblies, partnership with local clubs (i.e. Thunder Bay Boys’ & Girls’ Club) and special events. The close proximity of St. Casimir’s Church and St. Peter’s Church provides the opportunity for the school community to celebrate together at church. Our Parish Priests and Neighbourhood Police Officers and Catholic School Council are a welcome addition to our school. We take pride in their participation in spirit assemblies, special activities, and/or cooking on Shrove Tuesday.
We are a community who together try to live out our mission statement --- providing a quality education, which combines our concern for academic excellence with our encouragement of the spiritual, social, and cultural growth of the students in our school community. We work together to be a positive Christian influence in the East End community.
